Edward Enninful, who has styled more than 75 issues of British Vogue over the course of six and a half years, is saying goodbye to his current role as editor-in-chief of the publication.
Enninful marked the end of his tenure with a near-impossible March cover of 40 women who've created some of fashion's biggest moments, including Victoria Beckham, Oprah Winfrey, Laverne Cox, Naomi Campbell, Dua Lipa, Serena Williams and mother-daughter duo Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber.

"To get one of these women on a cover takes months," Miley Cyrus said of the big undertaking. "To get 40? Unheard of."
Salma Hayek added: "This shoot, it's a statement of sisterhood."
In a love letter the magazine, Enninful writes, "Women have shaped British Vogue for close to 108 years now, and have certainly informed every moment of my six and a half year tenure here. To say nothing of leading and guiding me through my entire life.
"It's been an extraordinary ride and an absolute honour. As I step into my new role, as Condé Nast’s global creative and cultural advisor for Vogue, I’m determined to keep championing the incredible array of voices in fashion and media, and ensure we keep the energy explosion of the last few years going," He continued. "We always say it, because it always needs to be said: there is a great deal yet to be done."
Enninful became the outlet's first man and first Black editor to hold his position as editor-in-chief. His first issue in December 2017 featured model Adwoa Aboah, who rejoined for his final issue. He became part of the cultural shift of the magazine, landing Cox as the first transgender women on the cover of British Vogue in September 2019 and doing a size-inclusive issue in April with plus-size models including Paloma Elsesser and Precious Lee, all of which appear on the 40-person cover.
Inside the issue, on newsstands Feb. 13, the women join for smaller black and white group photos shot by Ned Rogers.
